all thats left to do now is fit some rubber trim iv'e ordered to the edge of the cut plastic panels, the rear end of the ek9 now feels very tight and much stiffer :nice:

that looks nice! :nice: hve u noticed any diff in the handling?

i was about to fit my rear strut bar when told i should fit them bars with car in elevation so no pressure frm car weight on suspension & chassis... :blinx: did u hve r car elevated??

The x bar has really stiffened the rear of the ek9 up it's very tight now, sometimes it makes it easier to get the rear brace on if the car is raised up of the floor but we had the car on the floor when we fitted the x bar no problems

vtec, do you feel the rear sliding after this? I remember that the ek9 rear tend to slide in high speed cornering.

glad you got it fitted :) what did you do with the seatbelts in the end?

In that pic the seat belts are'nt fitted chona:) ,but got some longer bolts today and fitted them so i now have the x bar fitted with seat belts as well

Looks good! I bet you are very happy with the improvement in the handling. I myself have the EM's Tri Bar package installed in my EK9 =]
