Evidence that the winter protection detail I carried out was still doing it's job -

Wax of choice . . . durability and protection ;)

Day 2 and finished.

Unfortunately, the sun had gone and the Scottish mist had descended.

Time for a few shots -

Thanks for looking.

Great work. That collinite offers great paint protection particularly during the winter months.
Did you use a DA or Rotary to remove the initial swirls ?
And what grade of cutting compound/compounds did you use to achieve this ?

Cheers mate,

Old time favourite for Honda's . . . blue waffle pad and 3M Perfect-it III Ultrafina SE Polish.

Did however try some Meg's 205 with a Elite HexShine White Pad to mix things up a little.

Don't need anything harder than that with Honda paint.

Great work, have you ever worked with Meguiars ultimate compound and if so how does if compare to the 3M polish?
Thanks.

Ultimate Compound, now labelled Meg's 105 - great product but I've always been a fan of 3M.

They used to be too dry, the end effect being that they caused a lot of dust. The new range are much improved.

Nice work mate! I love your car!

Is this owned by a women? Sure i saw it on my way home from knockhill one day did look really nice
