I have a Mugen N1 ECU for sale, It fits pre-facelift EK9's

This is a plug and play ECU
It lowers Vtec engagement point to approx 4250rpm's and revs up to approx 9750rpm's

These ECU's are extremely rare, I'm only selling due to changing to a tuned Hondata.

I've had this ECU and a spoon one before and I have to say i liked this one better as there was no flat spots like the Spoon one, both ECU's felt like they increased torque over the standard ECU but more so with the Mugen.

I am based in Edinburgh but will post at the buyers cost.

Looking for £400

Fookin ell! 9750 rpm, is that safe on standard cams?

I thought the Spoon one was crazy revving up to the likes of around 9300!

Got to give up a bump for it - certainly rare! :))

Josh..

mugen advise a change of valve springs and retainers iirc

what kinda bhp would you expect to gain with this and with a full exhaust and standard airbox?i know its a vague question but im just wondering:)

I'm not really sure on that one mate

It feels like it has more torque and a bit better at the top end, but not sure on actual figures

anyways still for sale

interested in this, however im not too sure whether these ecus actualy work or not.
do you have a clip of the ecu in action?

whether it actually works?
course it works, just depends whether or not the parts on your car match what the ecu is mapped for, after all its a mapped rom chip, it's not artificial intelligence :)

they will be more aggressive usually, at the sacrifice of fuel economy etc.

lol... i asked as i have had the spoon ecu once with the spoon breathing and it didnt do much but increase the rev limiter; the 'changeover' like you said was less aggressive and was more progressive, having the petrol consumption better rather worse .. im not expecting huge gains (otherwise hondata would be the better choice) However i have heard good things regarding the mugen ecu (rare)

Hey Ricky sorry mate i've no videos of it in action mate and its out the car now

Like I said I found the Mugen better than the spoon.
Its way more aggressive but it lowers fuel consumption, it has no flat spots which I experienced with the spoon one.

for refrence I was using it with mugen intake, spoon throttle body, de-cat and the amuse mate.

hope that helps

Thanks for the message mate.
Having a full mugen breathing and so wanted to try it out seeing as my car is not having much interest being the winter season etc
will contact you if i decide to make you an offer via pm ;)

Would you ship to the US? If so how much would you be asking?

Thanx Roland
