My 1968 Honda S800 Re-build

I was looking at that one myself, I would have got it for spares if I had had space.
I would really like some nice old retro wheels. Apparently old Rover SD1 wheels can fit with little modification.
I will have this virtually finished for JapFest in May, just need to finish my old CRX then I can get cracking with it.

Wow not long to go now then!! Today I've just taken the radiator and leads and that out, almost ready to hoist the engine out! Was a windscreen supplied with your car? It's proving quite hard to find one at the mo

I might know someone that has a second hand one. How would I get it to you and what would you be prepaired to pay for it?
Cheers Duncan

How have I missed this :O love these things the closest ill every get is collecting them on Gran Turismo though had a full set including race models in GT4 :) looking forward to seeing this at Japfest and catching up with everyone. Keep up the good work Dunx.

Same as Matt, cant believe I've missed this.
Never really know about these until i looked them up the other day looks really over engineered for the day when you compare it to what we where producing (am i right in saying that has independent rear suspension)

Saw a build awhile ago with someone trying to fit a F20c engine in one of theses, now that's alot of work :D
Good luck hopefully see it at Japfest :nice:

Sorry for hijack but if any engine is to be fitted this is it

@garbo this windscreen problem is the same as most skylines many use lexan polycabonate glass as used on planes and such and not expensive.

Ahh yeah that interesting, I mean there isn't many of them around and only 11, 600 ish were made of the Honda s800 so the parts are scarce

Good to see everything sand blasted, looking good so far, and I'm not sure we could get it posted ? Depending on where your based, I'm not sure how much the windscreens go for to be honest, I'm willing to pay though, is there a guide price?

Not sure how to post pictures on this site, do I have to host then online?

It is going to be original white. The factory white is really off white.

Hey dunk, would you be able to get ahold of a windscrewn by any chance? I need to make a theead because I have a few spares I got in the boot.
Cheers!

Jist a quick update, been getting the roof, rear panel, rear qtrs and sills ready for primer. Will post up some pore pics when the primer is on.

Had a brand new bespoke roof lining made at great expence. Also dropped off all the chrome work to one of the best chromers in UK at massive expensive!
