My 98 CW EK9

Had the car off the road this week, as its needing a few things.

Drop Links Front and Rear, Rear Trailing Arm Bushes and D Bushes.

Decided to remove the rear bumper and clean the car up a bit.

Removed the rear bumper to be greeted with this! Not bad though as it was mainly surface rust which easily came off with wire brush and rust removal gel. Coated with anti-rust primer and will be sealed. Thinking of white stone chip.

Also decided to clean the inside of the car, having no boot carpet meant that the paintwork was scratched down to metal and looking sorry for itself. So rear interior was removed and wiped down. Primed and ready for a fresh coat of NH-0 Paint.

Wires were also tidied, fuel pump cover and rear brackets painted black to add some contrast.

Recent pics:

As you can see from the pics, the ride height was prettey bad. It was really bothering he so got the chance of some coilovers and went for them. Took it down to the unit one night and fitted D2 lower control arms and coilovers. Quite impressed with them for what they are/cost me.

Plans over the winter are to do:
Paint/fit new ek9 lip
Paint rocker cover
Sell mugen twinloop £400 for full system if anyones interested.
Use my 5zigen backbox and get a custom 2.5 straight centre section made up.
Spoon rear diffuser
spoon mirrors
canards
black rota slips
Some sort of cool fixed bucket (recaro spg/bride ect)
Nardi/personel wheel/snap off boss
drive hard.
