New to the forum so thought I'd get a spec and pics of the car up .

Was dyno'd at 380 @ 18 psi on b16 cams . Now running c4 cams but 650cc injectors are now maxed out .!! Guessing 400 at the mo . It's so fun to drive !

Really nice car mate, good to see another turbo civic. Any vids off this going?
 
Im sure its just the angle of the photo or my perception but do the pistons look a little crooked in the cylinders?

Thanks Matey - I just tucked the headlight looms and fusebox relocation . Didn't attempt the engine loom !!

same as myself, would need the dash out to do the engine loom properly!
 
Yeah it can be a handful !! To be totally honest , I'm always being ripped by my mates for driving like a granny but there's just to much old bill about now, so only really gets it legs stretched at pod ! It's drives like factory off boost , also returning fairly good mpg ..
 
yeah mate i know, points dont make prizes! thats why i drive an 320d estate it refuses to speed.. car looks great mate.

I can imagine a few sarcastic comments flying in to the answer to this question. Surly the lag on a 1.6 engine with a turbo is going to be prety bad? Im just guessing never driven anything like this.
Lovely car mate! Must be nice working on a car like this after working on vauxhalls all day.
 
That's the only downfall i have . It is laggy , running 9 compression ratio and 70 trim !! U can feel it spooling about 3.5 but doesn't reach full boost till 5500 rpm . Just a massive kick at 5 k with the vtec !! I've got a set of c6 cams to go in , which I'm hoping will make the engine a bit more efficient

Yeah I figured as much, a 70trim is rather big for a 1.6. A 57trim turbo would have fit the bill better IMO. You'll get more top end power using the type r cams but your midrange won't improve if anything you may even loose abit of midrange power, vtec will certainly end up been later.
