My eg6 Rally car

The engine is standard with ITB's, 5zigen exhaust mani, full buddy club spec II exhaust with decat, k20 injectors, running ford coil pack and crank sensor with omex 600 ecu.

Sounds good, do the ITB's make much extra power with standard b16b cams and compression?

Its not really for the top end power, its more for the mid range torque and throttle response. Still the engine tuner has told me that a good b16b with itbs would be close to 195-200bhp

i take it you will be running class 11? are you planning on doin many events this year?

yea class 11, not going to be doing a whole lot this year just one or two. West Cork will be the first one anyway.

Who's your tuner? Are you sticking with those trumpets? They look very short, what's the distance roughly from head to end of trumpet?

Love this so much I would love to give something like this a go just don't know were to start.

Vids look amazing cant wait to see more vids with the B16B in there :nice:

Tuner will be keith mcmullan cit. The distance from the head to the end off the trumpet wouldnt be far off 300mm. Ill measure it up next time im at it. What lenght would the others be?

300mm wouldn't be far off where they need to be, I guess the runners on your ITB's are good bit longer than other one's i've seen used which required a longer trumpet to make up the length.

tight class is right the competition is maddess. You need to finish Inside the top 10 if you want to win the class, great craic trying though:nice: Who are you sitting with?

Yea i thought the trumpets were way too short at first too. Ill let you know exactly what they are.

I normally sit with whoever rings or asks first for events out side the championship, i sat with pauric mcgee last year for the border in class 2 and won the class so im going to do that and the dunlop with him again this year. I hope to do galway in a escort and then dgl mini stages in a evo then the championship starts a week after that so its gona be a busy few weeks :D:drive:

Engine in and ready to be mapped in 2 weeks

Have to put foam filters on the trumpets and tidy up the wiring a bit.

Its how u adjust the shock dampening/rebound rates alot of competition standard coilovers have these on them
