My Eg6 SiR

Have this up on another forum so just copied an pasted most of it (all of it)

Got an eg6 shell bit rough but will fix that bit by bit should be perfect by the time im done with it smiles have my engine an box out of my ek4 to go into it all goin well.... car is filthy in the first few pics

Hard to see there but the underbody is spotless so gonna underseal it

After a wash

Have new front an rear bumpers to go on after car is up an runnin then will be gettin a full respray in White not sure what white yet but white anyway cos car is originally that colour





Test fitted a few bits....

Got engine in have to get passo mount and bolt for drivers side but life goes on nice to get some progress have to get driveshafts now as found the sneaky c*nt took out the drives when he sold it to me Mad got amber corners snap off steerin wheel an boss kit as well and obd1-obd2 loom and dizzy an alternator an type r gear linkage an gear extension smiles Got new radio for car too and should be gettin seats an clocks on monday all goin well

Some new bits arrived in the post this mornin from Japstyle thanks Adam ordered them yesterday got em today

ya so iv heard was gonna spray it a different color but hadnt realized white was rare in these as i had a white eg3 before

Am ek4 Died a noble death im afraid i crashed it Engine survived and thats whats in the eg6 shell now

Awesome. Had an EG5 and in terms of looks I actually like the 5th gen chassis better than the 6th gen It looks lower and more aerodynamic. And the tailgate is EPIC. Love the external seats

I was looking at importing an EG6 SiR from Japan but the prices are crazy. Good ones are trading for the same money as EK9's.
Stay with the white dude. White on gold looks epic!

Sound lads ya egs and efs are my favorite honda chassis of the lot next to fd2s of course Didnt get much done since got gear linkage in and engine is running dont know if i mentioned that also got full exhaust system cat and fogs and am in the process of buying a rad fan and hoses also looking for a steering wheel is proving hard to find car looks like **** at the mo but all in due time just want to get it up and driving for the mean time

Also according to this badge this exhaust is road legal

Hope to get the shafts in durin the week and find a way to get the parts down to Limerick from wexford

wow been a while since i updated this am basically shes road ready not finished as they never are but i threw it together for jap fest

Got her fully serviced today was serviced before but was sittin a while so said id flush an service here again just for peace of mind

Still have to drain the gear oil but i dont know how to be honest so il have to try figure that out tomorrow got a loan of a standard b16a mani off Anto on here so i can run my exhaust untill i get a replacement gasket

got an aluminium rad an fan an hoses but im missin a resovor bottle unless i have one in the shed somewhere hopefully

Pulled out all the dash an cleaned everythin the last fella that had this was a disaster wrong screws or no screws everywhere so i fixed that an tightened everythin up also he seems to have destroyed the loom for the radio somehow

so iv to fix that its curently non existent

Ammm after that the car should be able to be test drivin hopefully. probably run like sh*t with the small mani an the map but wel see

Had to fit standard mani as the exhaust is 2.25 at the mani part but as soon as i order a flange il throw on the other one

Dog manages to get in nearly all the photos so im sick of tellin him to move haha so hes gonna be in all of em now

Il upload a sound clip of the exhaust as soon as i get a chance might do it tomorrow

Wow two months an iv done **** all..... am i started runnin into problems with the build suppose it was all goin very smoothly all along fist off got the car road worthy an running then noticed that the gearbox was leakin oil so tried to get it sealed an then realised it was pointless so went looking for a new housing just the outer part (the bit the goes onto the mount) i got raped for that 80 quid for a sh*t housing that was black thought it was sprayed but was actually just covered in sh*t an dirt so took to it with degreaser a wire brush and loads of elbow grease eventually got the sh*t off. Then had to remove the gearbox as i couldnt afford to have someone do it for me this took ages as keept not havin the right tools enough help or time with work an everythin else finally got box out and changed the housing an then the housing wasnt closeing properly so had to bring it to someone an pay them to do it all again

Then brought the gearbox home an had to wait for one of the lads to help me put it back in as it was too heavy an awkward on my own eventually got it on and car wouldnt select first or second gear so box had to come back out

again.... Then droped it off to get fixed an only got it back yesterday so cleaned it again an sprayed it today forgot to take before pic of when it was filthy but was like this \/

Box is on and car should be back runnin tmr if the old wan will **** off gettin me to do jobs for her

If somethin goes wrong tomorrow il probably just have a mental breakdown

Got some other bits but only have pictures of a few of em for now gonna go about sortin tyres mabey tmr or monday

Got the car fully back together today everythin done an she wont fire fuel pump wanked it self somehow il get one as soon as i can an then videos of her runnin
