My ek9 from Australia :)

Looking good buddy. First thing I'd do is remove the green stuff pads. There wore than standard Honda ones. Other than that keep up the good work.

looks great mate, i remember another user from australia saying the EK9 is very rare out there..

look after her buddy.

Thanks all, I was supposed to take some nice hi red photos of her, totally forgot about it,

Thanks again for the awesome comments, as I am so proud that I'd bought her, going to keep her as original as I can, the car is basically untouched, from every nut and bolt, the oem cat back exhaust is very impressive, look nice and very well made for a oem car, never seen before!

also have a video i'm currently updating right now, so stay tuned!

the nine needs a wash, and a new clutch

may i ask, the car feels sluggish? some reason, usually in the wet, it cops major wheelspin.

but today going to and from work, in first, it barely made the wheels spin? clutch is doing fine aswell, it isnt slipping, only when shifting at high RPM, just eases into gears slowly and not a big bite

looking into a toda clutch kit.

or maybe clutch kit from mfactory. decisions decisions

advice? opinions?

washed my car today, degreased the engine bay, and guess the next part?

got bloody water in the spark plug chambers, drove down the street and i was sitting on the side of the street, had no tools whatsoever ( cleaned out my tools in the morning)

luckily a friend was with me at the time, he had some 10mm socket set to remove my cf spark plug cover and shoved tissues in the holes with a screwdriver!

got home safe, cleaned it more, took the plugs out and cleaned it with carby cleaner, and left the plug out so the hot engine can dry up the wells.

sigh. i felt so bad and embaressed. let the ek9 down :(

wel you got it back home anyway!

put "cling film" put over any parts like the rocker cover nexy time,i would tend to stay away from pressure washing the bay.

engine bay cleaner+brush and water hose just to run the dirt of lightly.

well guys, i went and ordered a ORC/ogura 309 single plate!

got it for a very good price aswell!

hopefully that arrives very soon, so i can slap that in and replace the timing belt aswell

when thats all sorted, i get my tax refunded back to me, so i can get new shoes for her!
