Gorgeous looking replica well done!!!
Just one question is the back tyres a bigger profile it looks like it in some of the pics???
Also put on spacers on the back wheels it looks like they sit too far in... Other than that excellent work...

Like I said, The turbo looks great and everything.... But you got to put on those side markers man! lol j/k that turbo set-up looks awesome!

Not tryign to be rude or anything, but with the amount of money you spend to make it look like a Type R. you can get one imported!
Just an FYI SIR!

thats what I did, I'm located in Austin and got my self an EK4 for a cheap price of 6 gs shipped. but It just been recently got hit by a drunk driver. so I'm picking up a Phoenix Yellow EK9 Shell for 8,600 shipped to my house.

But no doubt your car is super clean sir! you are just missing the rhd! :angry2:

I am in the USA. Plus what fun is it getting a car that is all done? Building it making it your own is what is fun about the whole thing. I built the whole thing and I am proud of what I have done.

i disagree with you here jdmek. if anything it will probably cost him less, it just depends. Take my case for example. i bought a beater civic hatch for $1000. it will take me less than $2000 to hook up the body (about $1000 or less if i dont use CF :D) $1000-$2000 for engine. for a net cost of about $5000-6000USD. the cheapest i see a genuine EK9 start importing at $10,000USD. not to mention the cost of actually putting it on a boat and getting it over here. then if you live in a place like i do (Los Angeles) import fees and taxes and getting it registered are going to be very painful.

HERE HERE!
we are hobbiest. when you build something up from nothing, to a work of are is a sign of joy and pride to a true hobbiest. if you want something thats already put together, go collect hot wheels or matchbox. i the joy felt building cars is akin to the joy of having a child. you take care of them, feed them, and treat them right, you watch them grow up. and finally when they are grown, you sell them for goo gobs of money on the black market (maybe bad analogy, but you get the point).

lol
i agree as well, can't purchase a real one with the amount spent on a replica, i should know.

The second point is on point. People just have different starter platforms. You guys are import these things like nothing, unlike the USA, restrictions are a lot tougher, yet alone to start moddin' on top of that....
