Also upped the boost to 1 bar now :)

With her other hot sister - my EK9:

I grabbed another fourth place in my time attack class which brings my overall standing to 2nd :)
Here's a video of my latest run:

She's still a work in progress. A few things we need to do is to replace the shitty temp dashboard we have with a properly fabricated racing dashboard. I'm also thinking of some aero a proper front diffuser/underpanel because she does get "floaty" at high speedsbecause of her being very lightweight. Also we need a b-pillar bar to properly mount the 4 point harness into and modify the rear axle to get some adjustable camber.

But here are her specs as of right now:

looks awsome mate. had one of these myself years ago. great little cars.:) bet it goes well!

WOW man nice car's, no doubt the EP82 is faster than the EK9 ?

Love the fact you have them both in black :D

Awsome, have much love for these.

My mate has a special select 4WD one with the 1.5 paseo swap blows anything on the strip away lol

Thanks guys! Yup she goes like stink and definitely faster thank my EK9 (which is basically my daily driver) :p

@Ellis planning to do the 1.5L block swap soon too with this one. Just waiting for my 1.3L block to give :)

A few things we did recently preparing for the next leg of the series. We finally got to install the emanage ultimate replacing the old Emanage blue. My tuner was able to get a vtps from an automatic 4efte to work with the EMU by wiring the signal directly to the piggyback and faking a tps signal to the ECU (not exactly sure how he faked it).

Made tuning a lot easier now as we can tune by throttle position. He also finally got to enabling the "boost scrambler" feature of the AVCR — wired temporarily into the horn button. Raises the boost to 1.3 bar for 5 seconds when activated. We still have 2 more days left of fine tuning before the race. Excited to try the boost scramble on the main straight!

Nice cars dude, i also have an EK9 and 5EFTE fully forged EP91 :)

@EK4 Luke @Jake123 LHD conversion. Shares the same rack & pinion with the corolla.
@Burny Me too (except I have an ep82) ! Best of both worlds mate! :)

Videos from the race last weekend!

A few new things new with the car. The emanage ultimate has been hooked up everything tuned - up until our alternator died, only a day before the race which cut the fine tuning short. We were able to sort out an alternator that we installed on track but the car was running a bit rich. Other than, it still performed flawlessly! The new VTPS is working beautifully and the boost scramble is ****ing awesome.

Here is my time attack session. I totally broke out into a higher class than what I was battling for overall points in. Fastest time was 2m10.168s good enough to bag 4th in the class.

This is my brother's grid wheel to wheel race. He qualified 2nd in the grid and kept 2nd place until the end of the race. Just to give a perspective of how much the car has improved - the lead car in front is a fully built 2.4L K24-R (k20 type R head with k24 block) Honda Civic EG hatch race car pushing close to 300 whp. My brother was able to put pressure on the leader all throughout the race.

Not bad for 1300cc :D

Wow, looks awesome, function over fashion! :D How much does it weigh?

New race videos!

They threw a new track configuration at us for the 6th leg of the circuit racing series we are part of. It was very short and technical – one prominent feature being a fast left hand sweeper that ends into a slow right turn and immediately into a lefthand hairpin. If that wasn't enough it started to rain in the afternoon making the track wet and muddy from cars passing on the grassy areas.

My afternoon time attack run:

This was my last ditch to try and get a time within my previous bracket where I was running for overall points. But the car is now just beyond that level and I ended up breaking out again by a about 1 sec despite trying to sandbag my run. This placed me in the middle of the next highest class. I clocked in a best time of 1m 36.585s (fastest time allowed for my previous bracket is 1m 37.500). The only consolation I guess was being able to hold that Lancer Evo at bay during my last lap was an awesome experience

Here's the video of my afternoon run (last lap was the fastest):

Next up is my brother's wheel to wheel race. Unexpected rain and mud from the last chicane caused him to spin out at the 2nd lap losing 7 places dropping to 10th from 3rd and it didn't help that we forgot to soften the suspension settings to compensate for the wet track. It was a hard battle but he successfully clawed his way through the pack to take back 3rd and finish on the podium.
