My K20 Integra DC2 track car

The car does go very well, that Evo was 500+ hp and was just about closing a gap on the straights but I was able to pull enough on him through the corners to get away from him after a few laps. I have another video of a red evo race car also on slicks and around 500hp, pushing him though the bends and then him edging away a bit on the straights but not much.. I will try and upload it later

My engine is a standard k20a2 with cartel 2.2 cams and breathing mods... Mapped properly by Aonghus @Vtec6000

Looks very quick, hats off to you.
Would be good to see that video!
Is that an in car vid?

Your engine note sounds the nuts btw.

Cheers, it goes very well for an n/a k20 with basic mods. Yes its an in car video

Wow that does really go well!
Very impressive.
Definitely the way forward

Great video with the Evo!

Cheers, I had one session on my own at the end of the day with no passenger and the seat out and it felt noticeably sharper again but by that stage my tyres had went off even more so I wasn't going through the corners at any big rate to take advantage of the speed

I'm yet to go out on track on my own, we do all this weight saving etc but always end up taking a mate out adding more weight than we lost in the first place! :wtf:
Good that you managed a session on your own.
What tyres were you on?

You have to try a few sessions on your own, with up to 100kg out of the car it makes a big difference. I didn't have a passenger seat until very recently just for the fun of having a mate out

I'm using Hankook f200 slicks, they grip twice as well as they were in the video but they were past the sticky stuff so were not working like they should. You wouldn't believe the grip of a full slick until you try them, I have no power steering and it pulls your arms out when you try new slicks

Very nicely done! sounds awesome :nice: that evo looks sweet too

I will try on my own next time, but like you say it's fun to take a mate round.

My next tyre will be a semi slick, I'm on ad08's ATM.
Looks like you had fairly decent grip on the videos! Must be something else with new rubber then!

Probably a newb question
But I'm trying to work out what is that cylinder in the centre of your dash?

Lol it's a blower fan just incase it rains, I have no heater matrix or blowers

Serious Integra man, very tidy looking. That was me that arrived down to collect the b18 off Aonghus when you were in getting mapped a few weeks ago :))

Ah cool it's good to put a face to a name on here

How's the car going, did you get the engine into the car to start running it in? Should be good when mapped!

Amazed at the way you keep that red Evo honest in the video. Sounds fantastic!

Wow! Clearly know that track and your car very well, nice one mate!

Car is outstanding! Sounds great and she can move ,
Your teg looks so good on track , well done mate.
Inspiring stuff, k20 is the way with that chassis.

Such an awesome car! Great to see a NA machine punching above its weight.
