my new charged ek9

thanks for the PIC!!! well maybe your car was raced but that dosent matter, she can handle some abuse every now and then :)

Hey man it was nice to see your car in the flesh on Sunday. Were you happy with the power that it made?

The driving position in your car is fantastic and I can't believe how small your steering wheel was.

I really loved your short shifter.

Is that the only short shifter that C's made for the EK9 or do you know if that extended arm was an extra or custom made. I would really love to get one for my car.

Thanks Steven

i dont have a clue about the shifter but i love it i love the driving position

dont think the dyno operator liked it though

na i want more power the problems im having is the intake temps are through the roof

The NSX calipers are a straight swap for standard calipers i think.

Your cars looking superb mate, hope you get it all sorted as soon as.

You need to build a cold air feed box to surround that filter so you have an unrestricted cold air source. That would help tons. Are you doing tuning with the hood open or closed?

What intake temps are you seeing at the moment?

You need to have an aftercooler! I can help you have one fabricated out of aluminium for cheap if you like.

My friends running an aftercooler on a 500hp K series setup, large supercharger! lol hes nuts!

you got any pics of the aftercooler?

My intake temps are about 85 sometimes 90 which is no good.

i have an idea in my head about fitting a front mount intercooler form an evo 8 but its gonna require alot of moving and pipework

85-90 F or C? cause if its F thats fine... thats about the same IAT's i have on full load...

its just a small water radiator
that goes between the cahrger and the head or between the charger and the runners.:nice:

The intercooler wouldnt do that much for you as the charger is directly on your head. it would need to pressurize alot more piping and the pressure drop would be immence

It HAS to be a custom job. You need a good alu welder, additional front water rad and electric water pump :nice:

you need an aftercooler, only time a FMIC works well with a supercharger is when its a centrifugal supercharger !

thats C im afraid

holy ****! thats almost 200 degrees F!!!! thats VERY VERY hot!!

with my old intercooler i was up around 160F and the car was VERY sluggish, we put on a bigger intercooler the IAT dropped to 90F amd with less boost we made more power.
