It was even more awesome than I imagined. Here are some pictures and a video of the EK9.

My Dad was the Photographer.

The place is amazing. Cool cars everywhere. A lot of the tourist track time was spoiled by the rain when I was out. Went for two laps while it was raining... terrifying. Did have one good dry day though. I’m still a novice when it comes to the track but absolutely loved it. Had a problem with my Throttle Position Sensor which also limited my track time but, overall it was a great trip. I certainly see why so many folk return year after year. I also decided that I need a Porsche in my life :D

A clip of me going round the ring. Not a spot on some of the Nurburgring veterans on here but was great fun nonetheless. I will be going back :drive:

excellent pictures and video Mart. Defo on the to do list at some point.

How did you find driving the car over there?

Damn those pictures are quality! Especially the first one :nice: I'm really tempted to get a 9 now and go to the ring this year!!

Great stuff mate :nice:

Very good pictures, Second one almost looks like a toy haha :nice:

Not really about how fast you go sometimes, aslong as you had fun man and went fast enough to your own standards. Picture & video looked great nonetheless.

Cheers for all the kind comments guys

I can recommend the best spots for pictures if that would be any use. There is quite a bit of walking involved for some of them.

I mounted the GoPro upside down from the interior light casing. I was looking to try mounting it from the passenger window but was unsure how that would go down with the Marshall's. The GoPro isn't the easiest to spot when mounted to the interior light.

Cheers man. Driving on the wrong side of the road takes a bit of getting used to. Went down a one way the wrong way in Belgium... That was fun

Car was fine with the long drive, it wasn't to uncomfy and you get used to the exhaust drone after a while. BMW's, Audi's and Merc's doing 100 + was a common sight on the motorways.

What was your best time?
It's scary in the wet

Best time was the 9.55. It was one of my early laps and still learning the track really. Unfortunately when I did get a bit more comfortable with the track the rain started and the Throttle Position Sensor started acting up. Unfinished business :D

I felt 9.30ish would've been a reasonable aim had I got another dry run at it. The car is definitely capable of even quicker though... Practice I guess :drive:

The concentration needed to drive it in the wet is unreal. A lot of accidents when I was out there aswell. Several track closures including the Honda Civic smash.

Well in mert looked like a fun all round trip . Pics look great :nice:
