My Very Rare JDM 98-Spec Milano Red Honda Integra Type R DC2


envy, really wanted to be dif & get a red teg when i got mine but so hard to find a good example even when cash isn't an issue. got impatient in the end :p stunning car mate
 
Thanks for comments lads, got a cancellation MOT for this morning and she failed lol, the boys that were testing her were very ignorant 4 of them came over and give her a while goin over, mustnt like young lads a doubt :( Stupid wee things to sort out like either take HID's out of her or keep them in and cut holes in my bumper and put washers for the headlights in new regulation in northern ireland ! Put stickers on the speedo for MPH, and 2 front shocks and allign headlights. Should have full years ticket then :L
 
It sounds like its getting really bad over there for mot's! Since when did u have to get washer jets on your headlights?? The headlights are standard from factory with hid's!

Anyway really nice teg mate

Aw it's a absolute joke MOT, might just fix the other stuff and explain to someone in the MOT centre that has brains that she came from factory with HID's, does anyone know if 96Spec headlights fit a 98spec, nearly be as handy to swap them over for MOT just to pass?

The hid's could be a problem for you mate,a guy i know who has a Evo 9 with factory fitted hid's without washer jets and the mot centre where having none of it,he ended up having to put a tee into the washer jets from the windscreen and running it down the bay and taking it out under the lights as a temporary measure. It was a real session for him with it all,the mot is is a joke over here,they where very harsh on my car too,the guy pulled on the handbrake that hard is stretched the cable then failed the car for it,and on my girlfriends 4 year toyota aruis they failed it for rusty brakepipes,i checked it when i got home and they where fine,booked it in again and they passed it and i'd done nothing to it.

**** thats a joke hi, not sure what till do about these HID's, all depends on what inspector you get on the day aswel, might just buy a set of 96spec headlights and put them on till get her through just a doubt :S Hole MOT thing has went to the dogs lately .
 
Very nice as as you say the milano red and Phoenix Yellow JDM tegs are the rarest.

Was it the quality of the HEL brake lines or had the hose got caught somewhere causing it to fail.

Generally the feeback on HEL is pretty good.
 
Bought a set of 98spec mudflaps to try and keep her a bit cleaner and also bought the original 98spec 4-1 manifold :p

Going to spray rocker cover original wrinkle red also very soon as its blue atm which i dont like very much.

ABS pump is goosed causing a imbalance at the back brakes, so also bought 1 of them and hopefully put it on the car at the weekend

Will get some more recent pics of her soon :L
 
Thats a gorgeous teg. Did you buy it in Cork by any chance?
 
Spent last saturday cleaning and polishing car, plates are also on for MOT purposes will have them changed back to smaller ones when she passes, also got 98spec mudflaps for her.











Also changed the 5Zigen 4-2-1 header to its original 4-1 98spec header with original heatshields as i prefer it.
