My VI-RS (17000km), Supercharged B finally mapped


What a wonderfull project. I'm wondering, why 3" for a N/A 1.8? Sounds a bit big to me, I would guess exhaust gas velocity would be lowered diminishing the scavenging effect?

Putting a supercharger on, its just sat there ready to go on

Thats skirts and the 98 spec wheels fitted, still have trims an pieces to go on yet but she’s getting there slowly

Update

Innovative 75A mounts arrived

Charge cooler back from being modified an new Vortech blow off valve fitted
Alloy rad also back, had to get the top water connection modified to clear the charger

Waiting for some heavy duty belts from America, good friend of mine over there who’s ordered some an ready to send out
 
Thats most of the main bits connected
Drained old oil ✅
Moroso baffled sump fitted ✅
Water cooler mounted on front ✅
Water tank fitted for charge cooler ✅
Pas setup mounted in place ✅
S2000 clutch servo fitted ✅
All water pipes an the main charger cooler water pump fitted ✅

Just got the charger and the charge cooler to fit in proper place, also the rad top hose needs modifying again ‍:(, ignore the filter as that will be getting replaced, just fitted that so nothing fall in to it for now

Thats everything done, rad had to be modified again to clear charger, only thing not really happy with is the oil cooler lines running on passenger side, plan is get some longer hoses an reroute it from the gearbox side so they are hidden out the way

Charge cooler water system runs mint, cooler its self stays nice an cold

Thats gauges wired up and working, nice an tucked away more of a oem look

Went for the Spa Design 2 in 1 digital gauges
Oil temp/oil pressure
Boost/water temp
AEM AFR gauge

Boost sensor need to fit just figuring out where on the intake
Aem sensor still need to fit in the exhaust
