Hi all!

Bought my VSM a few years back, sadly she has been sitting for a while, been neglected and ignored as i have little time after work to tinker with the car and as i never got round to getting my license... yet! The car its self, i am the 2nd owner of the car and it is sitting just shy over 40k miles, no rust on the shell (touch wood) and no major scratches, marks or dents on the car its self.

Whilst it's been sitting the car has had some work done to her, recently got both rear arches renovated and resprayed.

My goals for the car is to go for an aggressive Kanjo/Track look to the car but at the same time would love to keep the originality of the car.

Spec List:
Car has been colour coded
Spoon N1 Backbox
K&N Air Induction kit
Spoon Front Strut brace
x2 Bride Vios III on Tegiwa Low Rails
Cusco Rear Strut Brace
Cusco Rear ARB
Cusco B-Pillar Braces (why not? lol)
Mugen Steering wheel with boss
Japspeed manifold and decat (which may be coming off the car... for obvious reasons )
A set of Rota Fighters & Rota Grid V's wrapped in proxies
Jap Style UK Plates
That's all i can remember atm!

The car also has a front and rear lip (reps... i was on a budget at the time lol) and i also got a genuine set of Raybrig Fog lamps for the car... which i haven't been brave enough to put on lol

Future plans:
Original plan was to run for a few years but obviously backfired... plus i love the car and would like to hold onto it, Would love a set of Spoon Regamasters or Volk SE37k's, turbo/b or k swap, stripped interior, better suspension, Spoon and Mugen goodies :nerv: and possibly Recaro pole positions or another set of Brides

Apologies for the lack of pictures, I'll add a few teasers, hopefully they upload! I'll invest in a camera for better photos!

Thanks for viewing! Ross.

Welcome to EK9.org and hope you don't neglect her too much!

Thanks! The Rocker cover was to be a close match to the bronze of the wheels lol, was going to wrinkle the rocker but most civics have that and i wanted to be different! I'll try get some pics at the weekend and upload more!

Very nice spec also , you have good taste
Thanks bud! I'll try my best not too, always had a think for 6th gens so to own one for a 1st car was a dream for myself lol! I have alot of plans for the car, i would like to start with the parts that i have, get the car on the road and build from there!

Looks super clean mate.
Thanks! Hopefully keep it that way, it's just out the bodyshop getting rear archwork... nothing scary, just bubbling, but i wanted to treat the rust before it spread out further!
Lovely clean car, liking the rocker cover.
Thanks man! Yeah the rocker cover stands out, it took a few attempts and a few rattle cans to get it to my standards lol

A few random photos i found on the phone:

My Gen 3 Mugen:

My Rota Grid V's with Project MU Wheel nuts (a bit blurry):

And as requested a pic of the bay, it's sitting standard in this picture:

Also, could anyone tell me how to make the pictures smaller? I hate how blown up they are in the thread, thanks! Ross.

Bay looks clean n fresh. Love the grid v. Mugen steering wheel
Thanks again man! The bay is one of my favorite parts of the car tbh, odd bit of wear and tear but the car is 16 years old, it's very fresh imo, and i'm glad you like the mugen wheel, was between that or the spoon wheel, i think i made the right decision in the end tho! 2 month waiting list for the wheel tho lol! and for the grids... well it's my favourite purchase as of yet lol they just have a real aggressive, chunky look to them!

So, as i'm too scared to cut up the bumper that's currently on the car for the brig fogs, i bought a 'new' bumper with a proper lip, slightly damaged but it's getting hacked to bits anyway then off to the painters for a fresh coat  no more nasty replica lip tho lol!

Whilst i was at it i managed to get my hands on a spoon rear lower tie bar also! Hopefully both arrive on Tuesday/Wednesday and i'll snap up some photos of the LCA and the bumper! :x:

Also thinking of investing in the 6two1 Super Damper Suspension, anyone on here running them on a ej? would love your opinion on them before i take the plunge, will be much appreciated!

Looks good mate, glad to see you have kept the standard airbox as I got best gains with one using a k&n filter and made over 100bhp at the flywheel with just bolt ons! Standard is about 80 something i think

really? i wouldn't of thought that lol, theres still a little bit of tweaking i need to do with the car before im happy with it. thanks! :))

Yeah i was getting better throttle response with a standard box and k&n panel filter over a AEM setup believe it or not.

So since i finished work at a decent time tonight, i decided to refit one of the Brides, took a lot of dithering about but got there in the end...

I'm quite keen on getting the actual casing wrapped in the same style of case as the glittered effect zeta's, only in purple... just to be different! has anyone wrapped the casing on here? if not then i'll definetly go for it lol :))

So the bumper and the Spoon Tie Bar arrived today, absolutely chuffed to bits with both items, bumper has a few marks and cracks but nothing that won't fix!

Test fitted the bumper on the car to see if everything would line up,
took a little persuasion but it eventually fitted onto the car nicely:

Took a teaser pic of the Spoon Tie Bar, this along with the
Grid V's should be on the car by the weekend:

And since I was at it i refitted the N1 onto the car,
bumper needs a tweak so it's sitting more flush:

Next Plan is to give the new bumper some tlc... get it prepped for the brig fogs and send it off to the painters!
