need HKS SLD Installation HELP!!!

hey guys! i saw some of you have the HKS SLD mounted in their 9's for removing the speed limit!

i bought one and hoped it just was plug & play, but now i found out i need to cut and rewire some cables at the ECU.
no problem, because its close to my job so i do this daily :)

now my problem:

the instruction manuals are only avialeble in Japanses language, i googled a lot and checked US HKS page and so on. but no way to get an english manual!

i've got HKS SLD type I, there are five wires:

yellow (female)
blue (female)
red (male & female)
white (male)
black (male)

i found my ECU in the manual, but im not sure what the Letters in the ECU-drawing are standing for and which wires i need to connect where.

can someone please help me? would be great, because on eastern holliday im at the nürburgring and nürburgring and 4 hours german unlimited autobahn up to the "ring" would really suck with speed limitations at 180 km/h.

btw: i do not have any mph conversion or something like that, if this matters!

hoping for fast answers so i can do this before i will go to nürburgring!!
 
hmm im not really sure how this will help me? i got a different speed limit defender with more cables and also i do not need any MPH conversion...

ah btw: my ek is a 2000 model i the manual i saw for very early models there is a different wiring needed..

would be great if anyone can explain me speccially for the HKS item and EK9 how to get it installed, i think there will be more guys who need this in future to!

also im not sure which wire will need to be used at the ECU
 
yellow and black on ecu is + tive
Black wire is - tive

blue and white is VSS,,

what year is your ek9?

let me know and i will scan in my instructions for you
 
its a 2000 Year model. yeah, instructions would be great!!

basically you tap into the ignition live and ground, with 2 of the wires, and then you cut the VSS wire, one of teh wires of teh SLD goes to the ECU side and the other to the Loom side, so that the VSS signal travels through the SLD.. and thats it :)
 
that's how i thought it, thanks :)

but what is the blue wire for?? seems there was no blue one on the older SLD versions..?
 
thats if your car uses teh vss feed to work the dials or something you woudl then need to supply teh dials off of this,,, think it just takes a feed before where teh vss goes into the SLD chip so that your speedo does not stick at 180 KPH,, dont need it on an EK9 though so no need to worry about it,, :)
