Never seen one before?

F20B??? really, car probably doesnt have have the stuff the owner says it does.

Why would it not have F20B? It was the standard engine that went into these.

Yea it's a jdm accord, seems to be a few down south of ireland. Nice looking car but interior isn't so nice. Most put the euro r stuff on them.

er my bad i though the F20 was a S2000 powerplant, only just realised that the F20C is for S2000 and F20B is for this. strange for it not to have the H22 line the normal accords.

yeah jdm f20b was 2.0L displacement. not a huge difference between h22a and f20b though. this just the sir version for the euro R. jdm spec only.

Always thought one of these "Blue top" engines would be a nice swap in an EK, Although it seems to be the same amount of hassle as a H, So a H22 would probably be more sensible.

"The SiR-T model included a 2.0L F20B engine rated (Only 750 Produced) 200 PS. The F20B had a unique blue valve cover and like all the larger displacement Honda engines, the F20B was mounted with a tilt towards the driver. F20B engines could rev at higher rpms than H22As because it had a shorter stroke. The F20B had an 85 mm x 88 mm bore and stroke when compared to an H22A which had an 87 mm x 90.7 mm bore and stroke. The F20B was also classified as a low emissions engine."

Sounds very interesting!

Cool, I can't imagine sourcing one would be easy. Would add a nice bit of torque over a b16

I've seen one or two around on the odd occasion. I'm quite fond of them....as to is my mother ha When one was parked outside our shop before she spent more time looking out at it than I did!

It's a Torneo.
Shares a lot of the Accord stuff just front and rear is different.
You can get the Torneo and Accord in Euro R variations.

Don't like Torneos, they look dated..

Thats a poor spec Torneo too in standard equip.

Why is it not called an accord as a posed to a civic then? If its based on an accord

same chassis as an accord CL1. just has different lights up front and rear. sorta like a facelift and prefacelift, but totally different model in this instance.

Theres more difference than just looks.

The eBay link in the original post is a CF4 SIR T which is a manual F20B, the SIR is an auto version of this.

The CF4 does not have Recaros or the carbon trim on the interior aswell as the momo steering wheel and gearnob, it has a clutch LSD as apposed to the helical LSD of the CL1. CL1 has a different engine, different suspension, strut braces, 35% thicker sway bars, different exhaust system along with 4,2,1, larger brakes 5 stud hubs as apposed to 4 stud. Gearbox has different ratios and final drive.

Basically they share the same chassis but after that thats about it. Kinda like saying the DC5 has the Honda stream chassis and leaving that statement as that lol
