Hi there guys,

Just looking for abit of advice really.

My EG has developed an issue, there is no braking pressure until the pedal is right onto the floor.

The brakes have been bled multiple times, I did have 3 calipers which had to be replaced but all 4 corners have been bled but I still have this issue.

There is braking force but only when the pedal is right onto the floor. I have done some research and it's pointing to the brake master clyinder.

Would I be right in thinking so?

First have someone pump breaks while you go and check all break lines ,I'd jack car up and put axel stands under remove wheels and check all lines top and bottom, clean them first then check with some tissue while someone is pumping breaks ,also check bmc,
I think off hand bleeding is rear driving side then front passenger side front driver side and rear passenger side,
Could be wrong, but check anyway

I've always bleed furthest from master cylinder.

Iv always bled my breaks this way as you won't run air back over to were you just done ,but I know lots of people that do it the way you do also .

You can test your master cylinder if you pump the pedal a few times with engine off you should get a hard pedal then keep pressure on the pedal. Start the engine still with your foot on the pedal it should sink slightly and stay there if it does to the floor most likely your master cylinder.

Are you bleeding with the engine running?

Tired that there now and the pedal fell to the floor

I'd always bleed a servo system with the engine running.

Another trick that ,might help you is to open a nipple on one Caliper and pump the pedal to the floor slowly maybe ten times, this will get a good flow of fluid through the line to try dislodge the air.

If the pedal went to the floor id be looking at that same happened me and it was the master cylinder. It's just not holding pressure in the system they can be rebuilt but usuall better replacing
