Guys, seriously. It has been a long time ago since I have been excited about a car since the FD2R. And I never thought I would ever be excited about a Yaris. But have you guys seen this? Yaris GR - https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-japanesecars/toyota-gr-yaris---official-/41624
- 1.6 3 pot 260hp
- Bonnet, doors and boot of aluminium
- Roof of carbon fibre polymer
- Hold your horses: 4WD!
- Selection of f/r 60/40, 50/50 or 30/70with a simple button!
- Optional Torsen diffs on both front and rear axle!
- All in a package of 1280kg, which to me in current age with all regulations is very good

Wow, I need one of those as soon as they are affordable second hand!

It looks very impressive. It's very aggressive, yet have some nice and stylish lines. As with the Supra I'm not in love with the front of the car, but I guess that with the time I'll get used to it. I think that the make or break point will be the price.
I so much wish that Honda will come up with something like this, based on the Jazz/Fit platform, AND they will be keen to sell it in Europe.

Some people have looked at prices of current cars available in Japan and the UK and have deduced it should be around 32k with the optional track package with the torsen diffs. Civic Type R is a little more expensive with some options, Focus ST should be around the same money. But, to be honest, I might/would choose this over those two!

The spec is impressive, but I just don't like the styling so wouldn't buy one myself

Now that is a Yaris I would gladly drive.
