Nurburgring 2010 EK9.org trip Photo thread


I'll start off with the pro ones of mine, i got loads more of the cars there:

Was amazing, back in 1 piece too, car ran superb

I did a heap of laps, 25.5 in total, lapping 9 mins with some traffic, so with none would be slipping into 8's :nerv:

Cracking trip though, great bunch of guys, was a hoot :)
 
All in all trip was a great success apart from Dan having his car nearly eaten by a lorry on the fast drive down there! :angry2: hope you get that sorted soon mate!

Personally i had a brilliant time, everyone was sound and i have every intention of going back next year. Not in a silver ek9 though, the stick i got from the champ white boys was almost to much to bare! :))

Apologies for not meeting up after we got off the ferry. Sat nav sent me in opposite direction.

Will attempt to get my professional pics up later.

Oh and finally if anyone comes on this trip next year and stevenek9 goes. Get a passenger ride with him, that boy can drive and his ek9 is something else!!

Take it you got back home ok in the end steven?

25.5 laps over the sat/sun/mon, although got 2 in on Friday night as I was itching to get on when we got there!!!

Yeah got home fine Martin cheers, 2400 miles i've done in total in the last week :wow:
 
Thanks Martin, Yeah bloody lorry drivers! That was so close to bye bye 9 :( ... To anyone out there, avoid sticking your finger up at a foreign lorry driver :nerv: !! Ive already had a quote to spray the whole side covering that patch and my 2 scratches on wing and full front bumper respray for £320. So will get that done within the next couple of months.

Had such such a good time, everyone was so sound, that night was hilarious aie Mart? hehe.. The Mrs was fine luckily!

That night was immense, Max is a legend! Glad your other half was ok in the end! Expected you to get a right roasting! Cant wait to do the same again next year. £320 aint bad. That include the wheel or are you doing that yourself?

Guys i have had my pictures e-mailed to me but how do i get them from there to a post on here?

stick them up on photobucket mate then copy and paste the img codes of the pics you want into your post... if that made sense lol:nice:
 
looks awesome guys, definately want to come with you next year now. what you reckon the whole trip cost?
 
@ Y3lo: IJWhiteman had some prices up covering most things so that might give you a good estimate.

Pictures are brilliant I love the last two of StevenEK9's car I think the second one the most because of the distance shot looks really moody :nice: My new background on works PC.
Sounds like it was really good fun its definatly one of my goals to go there but I'm going to try and learn abit more about the car on some UK tracks first and get some experience so its not so much jumping in at the deep end.
