Nurburgring - Whos Going And When


That's why I'm also going on monday - it's usually less crowded on the ring on a workday than on a regular trackday :nice: Sunday, well, depends what I'm going to do. If it's really busy maybe 1 or 2 laps and watch the rest of the day. If it's not so busy drive more laps than that :D

And weather predictions for sunday and monday at the ring have, again, been adjusted to better weather :D Can't wait!
 
Not fussed about the GP circuit tbh, all long sweeping bends and not that interesting :((

Track day of the ring itself will be awesome though, basically you pay and can then do as many laps as you wish through the day, slicks are even allowed :nerv:
 
When is it open for the trackday of the ring itself ??? And what are the costs involved? Sounds like a much better option!!!!! !!!

I would love to have a go at the GP circuit purely becuase I haven't yet! But as you say its probably not the most fun track for our little honda's!

Never heard about that.

I drove at Spa with the civic but it s a fast track
You need a powerfull car to be very quick. BTY it's closer than the nur.

I like the small trackday very cheap in the north of France (like at the HEM2)

The nur is still the nur

yeah it is open for track events on certain days of the year, limited numbers and have to book in advance
 
Ahhh Can you drop me a pm when you know when yours is? would be good to try do that this year instead of tourist laps! I'll look on the internets and see what i can find!
 
When I was there in august a car club was going round, they were all classic race cars.. I can't remember if it was before or after the public day but apparently everyone pays a certain amount and you just keep going for about an hour
 
Track day at the Ring is normally £500 for the day, or £1000 = 1 car/2 drivers, sometimes a holding deposit is needed (£300), 'Circuit Days' among others do these events.
 
Anyone on here up for a trip on 25th-29th may. Some great times avalible over that long weekend

Leaving ireland on the 24th..will be in uk around 1oclock.. 2 ep3s, a ek4 , 2 evo 3s my yoke and a e46 m3.
