Obd2a to Obd2b (interior) Loom convert

hello guys , a need a help on one question (Swap) ....

i have a b16a2 (97) with Obd2a Loom , and my Ej9 1.4 is a Obd2b.

if i Swap a (interior) wiring obd2a into a Ej9 is compatible ? .... Example move "all" interior dash wiring of the 97 civic and plug into Ej9 2000 ... convert them into all Obd2a Motor loom and interior.
 
I need swap dashboard wiring obd2a to Ej9 year 2000 (obd2b) ist´s possible ? "convert the civic 2000(obd2b) into Obd2a"
 
If i've read correctly, you can use a Conversion harness to convert obd2a to obd2b or obd1
 
thanks for answer Pete , my idea is not to use the conversion, but to convert the entire car Ej9 obd2b into obd2a

It's possible, what I need. ?

I have a whole car obd2a for parts...

thank you for the answer .... but is can possible to Swap the OBD2A dashboar cables ? is only plug and play ? convert all into OBD2A.... it´s only my question...
 
Problem solved, needed obd2b motor loom to match obd2b body chassis .... and obd2b to obd2a converter ECU

If i've read correctly, you can use a Conversion harness to convert obd2a to obd2b or obd1
It's much more difficult than you think than just using the conversion harness at the ECU plugin. OBD0, OBD1, and OBD2A is very easily to interchange engine harness/loom, engine, and ECU because of the OBD conversion adapter. However, OBD2B is a COMPLETELY different story. OBD2B is the only one in the family where all 3 ECU connectors are not found together at the end of the engine harness/loom. 2 of them are from the engine loom and the 3rd one is from the cabin loom/harness. It is so stupid how Honda even did this but I probably don't understand why. This made it so difficult for me over the summer when I had a OBD2B engine harness and an OBD2A cabin harness. Several people on the internet even mentioned that it's possible but it's not even worth it because you have to dissect the cabin harness like crazy to produce the 3rd ECU connector; not only that but you have to rearrange the wires from the engine harness that deletes the 3rd connector from there. It's not even worth it because so many wiring issues could go wrong. I had to find a OBD2A engine harness instead and returned the OBD2B engine harness. Good luck!

UPDATE: I'm glad you solved it! By the way, yes, it's definitely possible to change the entire cabin/dash harness to OBD2A but it is significantly easier to change the engine harness than the dash harness. When it comes to OBD2B, both the engine and cabin/dash harnesses MUST BE SAME style.

Some things manufacturers do, have me scratching my head too! Lol wondering "why does it have to be so difficult" did I see on youtube that you got an actual ek9? Or is it a rep :)

It's an absolute replica. The entire front chassis is welded from a real EK9 from head to the interior seat.

My Motor is B16a2 Obd2a
Car is Ej9 2000

I think I have to add cables to the ECU ... in my case my Obd2B 99 VTi engine loom looks like it has a defect, and I noticed that Plug C ( Blue ) don´t have this cables is Normal ?...

My car represents some problems:

I checked errors on the dashboard Ligh and give me n* 8 TDC ( Top Dead Center )

Since I already got a new distributor, I checked well the belt of distribution , Camshaft position, candle cord, candles , everthing..., but the error does not erase ... the car does not open Vtec , delay to start , the rotation drop a litle bit to 500 - 300 RPM sometimes on cold ....

The 3 codes you just showed means you're using an OBD2 computer. Are you sure your engine is OBD2 or OBD1? Those 3 codes are the EXACT difference between the two because OBD2 adds at least those 3 sensors for extra emissions. Either you get an OBD1 computer to have zero codes or you keep the OBD2 computer and do some changes. To fix the VTEC Pressure Switch, you will need an OBD2 VTEC solenoid/housing. You cannot use a JDM VTEC solenoid/housing because all of them have no pressure switch sensor. For both the CKF codes, you need to trick the ECU by thinking you have one. There's tutorials on the internet. I'll link it here. Make sure you use the tutorial link I gave you because it's the most updated tutorial:
