Post your 1/8 - 1/4 Mile Times Here!

I was at Enniskillen Airport yesterday for Irish Drag series and my best time was:

*14.7 at 100mph* ek9 b16b with 4.7 fd, dc manifold, standard b-pipe, spoon n1, a blitz drop-in and street tyres :)

All of the times of the day seemed a bit slower than normal might have been due to head winds. My old dc2 with 204bhp that ran a 14.1 at bishops court was running 14.7s all day long and then squeezed a 14.6 near the end

I was happy with the result, came 2nd in my class and got a trophy lol. Found the starts hard and couldn't seem to find a point between bogging down and spinning too much:angry: Great fun tho, really good turnout and the place was took over with Hondas. Maybe next time I will try sum R888s and get a better start

Not my car but my friends eg hatchback have only run it at the 1/8 of a mile

A stock K20 is almost like having an almost built B series?

Thats funny, cos i didnt realise that K20's come out the factory with 220hp like my stock block 9.6:1 CR B20!

well i aint gonna argue with you sir i respect you opinion to each his own and this eg doesnt have 220hp it has 232hp but if you saying that u b20 is better thats cool

When did i say my B20 better? i was merely commenting on your remark "a stock K swap has more power than a built B series" i was correcting you cos your way off the mark with that one :)

Mods:
-2000 CTR engine and trans
-OS Giken Single Stage clutch/flywheel set
-HR Cup Kit suspension
-AEM short ram intake
-Apex'i WS II exhaust
-Buddy Club Condenser
-front and rear strut bars
-front Si swaybar
I noticed that I need trans fluid, the os giken clutch only lets gear shifts happen if the clutch pedal is ALL the way down at high rpm, and I need to get an alignment and some better tires. I'm also using a AEM shortram and a WSII made for a DX hatchback (1.6L SOHC). I need to upgrade ALOT.
Ran again tonight and with only a different suspension, Exedy Stage 2 with lightweight flywheel and horrible mounts I ran this:

R/T - 1.014 (horrible)
60' - 2.478 (babied it)
1/4 mile - 15.1 @ 94.53

how the hell do you guys get 15seconds in a 1/4th mile with an ek9??

I got a 14.8 with my 106 gti

Did you read what I wrote? I'd be in the 14's if I hadn't babied it. Also, stock B16B's in the EK9 aren't really intended for drag racing at all. Your little GTi would get wupped on a road course by a CTR but you'd beat a stock one in the 1/4.

not an ek9 but 14.7 on 1/4 and 9.60 1/8,on a 97 stock ITR, think i can do better
