As above use this thread to vent any poorly made items/bad experiences with ebay or copied products.

I know i've had a few over the years and wasted a massive ammount of money learning the hard way that "You get what you pay for"

Lets help our member out so we ALL don't make the same mistakes.

If you can post a link to the items aswell would be very useful.

Vent away! :thanks:

Hytech Replica Ebay header (TDM)

Didn't fit right, I had to heat up the tubes to move them up!! and the power band was up and down on the dyno.

OBX Twinloop exhaust

Sounded like a fart can even with a 22" resonator, after 50 miles of use I found that the muffler had a tiny leak. Decided to install the oem muffler back.

+1, i had a little work to fit it !

Blox rear toe kit

Has really soft bushings, maybe even softer than stock toe arms.

Ebay rear camber kits - Rubber bushings fell out after 2 months. Pay for what you get I think

Although i have heard good things, i got an accessory zone rep type R grille.
The fitment was pretty bad tbh, couldnt even put all the clip things back on because it wasnt the right shape :s

VIS carbon fiber hood. Underskin is separating from main ply and shakes like Japan over 80km. Not the first vis product to look and work like **** either. Stay away from VIS products.

Buddy Club front camber arms. The first set i had could of sent me into a lamppost so i had to send them back.

Very often it's crap, but I once ordered polyurethane Type R lips for my EG for 180 dollars inc shipping to the Netherlands. Guess what? They were great! Fitment couldn't have been better. So it's not ALL crap. But there is a lot of crap on Ebay.

3. HKS exhausts. sound nice but baffles inside made of mild steel and rust out quickly.

4. Spoon 2-1 down pipe. cheap bit of mild steel that costs allot.

5. FRENCH cars, comfy seats but the rest falls apart and are a bitch to work on

come to think about it funkypower abs plastic 96-98 spec type r lipkit payed fare bit for them and fitment was terrible. all over the place really and only 4 screws to try and bodge it on as well.

Same as above, bought funky power restyle front lip and it doesn't fit at all, completely useless.

I brought a ebay manifold very cheaply made a horrible scooby sound when reving cracked in welds the standard one sounds better with a ss exaust system than wasting 50 pound on a piece of home made poo steer clear if udont want dissapointment i was. Defently have learnt the hardway lol

Same here, bolt heads shearing all over the place right before Germany could of resulted in a BIG accident!

Yeah scooby sound for me too. Also doesn't do the engine much good.

Funkypower baffled decat. I swear the thing was about 1" too short, it pulled the rest of the exhaust system up against the chassis and made the whole car vibrate. The adjustable decats fit perfectly, but didn't last for very long before failing.

You'd think a decat pipe would be simple to make wouldn't you!
