Powdercoating/Painting Advans

Well 2/4 of my rims need to be redone. Im sticking with the black center, but was thinkin about painting the red lip a different color. Im not thrilled about getting it re anodized so i was wondering what you all think painted/powdercoated would look like. im thinking of blue since the cars being painted championship white. a friend told me pink and i slapped him lol. so...any suggestions.
 
my only suggestion is powder coat NOT paint, there is a major difference and people in the know will notice that painted wheels look like ****.

Yeah definitely would look like ****. When i bought my ej6 the wheels were painted probably with regular spray paint cuz it looks really terrible. I dont really care about it now since im going to get new rims and tires sometime.
 
what about professionally painted using automotive paint and what not? just wondering anyways im thinkin about gettin the outside lip done in blue, didn't wanna go with a crazy off color. i was thinking of a lime green...haha
 
ah ok ok- i didn't want anyone thinkin i was going to rattle can it hah. I saw some guy on honda-tech powedercoat the entire rim pink- it didn't look that bad haha.
 
yea, powdercoated finishes are near perfect but painted finishes tend to be a bit orange peely and have more imperfections.
 
powdercoating hasnt caught on in u.k and not that many places to choose from compared to u.s where loads of places,

i dont know much about painting but know powdercoating is better than normal paint
 
im thinking about finding another set of rims...someone heres jockin my style lol- i was the first with a set of advans here in town and someone else just got some so i feel i should switch it up. i'll put off powdercoating my advans till after i get my new set. So...any suggestions? 15s or16s, what brand, and what color choice. The car will be painted either Championship White or a Olive Green/Dark Green *lil bro's idea* haha he keeps feeding me new ideas after i have a mind set, punk
