Morning All,

I am after some advice and hope you can help.

Over the past couple of months my car has developed a strange noise. The noise is noticeable as soon as I start the car.

I have posted a video below, is any one able to provide any assistance?

Try removing just the powersteering belt and starting the car, if the noise is still there remove the air con belt and try again and check for the noise

That sounds pretty similar as to how mine sounded, and it was the pump.

As others have said its pretty easy to remove the belt.

As above, if the noise changes when you move steering wheel it's probably your PS pump. Either the bearing is shot or you're low on PS fluid

Just pull the belt off! If the noise stops then you know it's ps pump related

B16 mini has it right because if you just turn the steering wheel from side to side it can make a different noise if the belt isn't properly tightened

what was the outcome ? mine has started making same noise. anyone know wheres best to buy pas pump ?

Stupid question but is you hose rubbing off the pulley?
If not , sounds like bearing noise, or can make a weird sound if you've a air leak somewhere on the pipe or o ring at the top of pump , can also make weird sound if you use the wrong fluid.

on the weird fluid thing the pump worked fine when i bought the car then after rebuild and fresh fluid its started to develope the noise forgot what fluid i used though

I should have one here as well, will check later tonight

Check what fluid you put in ,but honda says only to use there fluid as some other fluids can cause noise problem and the likes.
