If there was 500 made per day - they were made between 97-00 so 4 years at 500 a day and one of those years would be a leap year.

So not counting holidays that would be 365 x 4 + 1day (had to be one leap year) = 1461

1461 days x 500 ek9's per day = 730500

That is a rediculous figure and i highly doubt there was that many made.

if its correct the translation is around 5000 units per month and the 500 i said above was about Rx models

Cannot find an edge to start with these japanese. Anyway, If its 5000 per month then its ~167 a day. Again I think that is too much for a day ha?

we need a someone who can read japanish cause those translators are not 100% aqcurate.

Looking at chassis numbers the face lift seemed to get upto about 5000 and the pre facelift 4000. The earlier the car the lower the number.
Please post you chassis numbers if they are high so we can get some idea. I think it is about 8000 in total.
mine is June 99 and is 3793.
