Snetterton Nippon Race 13 and 14

After all the problems we had this season we finally make it to one racewithout any Major problem. Only problem we are having is the car is running 80bhp under power due to our Mapper snap one of the intake cam pulley bolt, we had 195bhp before map and after the snapped bolt we have 170bhp after mapped :( and we also have misfiring problem under part throttle, the car wasn’t
performing what it should be and I was struggle to keep up with the MX5 and Del Sol CRX on the main straight.

Anyway, even with the bolt snap we qualify 5th in the Honda class, just 2 second away from a 220bhp EK civic and we are in front of a healthy working DC5, so we are not too unhappy with the result.

At both races, we had a good start but as soon as we hit the main straight we got takeover by all the others and we can only catch up under braking (thanks to Dixcel brake) and during the corner. We have tried our best and we have came 5th in both races, I have to say this is the first time we have not receive any trophy in the past 3 years racing.

We are going back to use the old ECU and change the cam pulley this week and get the problems sorted and we will back to our home track Brands Track on 8th November!

Here is a short video of our first race –
