thanks a lof for the info guys, I learned a lot today.
In my country, I've seen that ek9s use the "little" size radiator if they're 1600cc, (aluminum one) if they stroke them, they use the ITR radiator size.
Anyways, I don't think that lifting the hood a little makes any difference, what I tracked a lot with my ek9 and never had any cooling issues, specially that I used a spoon thermoswitch. What I did one day that it was very hot, I removed the front grill at the track, the temperatura was down by like 2 - 4 degrees celcius
