Random Red button in ek

Hello all I am just wondering if anyone has any information about this red button? It sits just to the right hand if the steering wheel next to the launch control button for the Omex rev limiter.. I will take photos tomorow.

I think it's an aftermarket button by the way it's just sitting loose in that pocket. The previous owner said to rev the car up, let off and press the button and she will let off an almighty pop out of the exhaust... I know boys with older cars that "key bang" it to let off big pops but unsure why there would be a button for it!
I basically need to jump start her and hit it!
