Recent no start no crank immobilzer fault

Dear Sirs
My one owner from new 1996 1.4i civic 3 door hatch with 71000 miles has just started to develop the no start no crank green flashing light on the dash ,main agents say immobilzer fault and no spares available and cannot be repaired .Just spent £700 on oem parts wing mirrors roof rails weather seals on doors rear headlight gaskets wiper arms gear nob etc so a little gutted.

Swap the immobiliser parts out. Could be just the ignition barrel part, which was the case for my car.
