Replacing factory steering wheel

I am replacing the factory steering wheel bought a HKB Sports Boss kit. My car has airbags I assume i have to remove the plate for the that the wires are in " I am not sure on that part". Its hanging for the time being . I roughly put the hub on with the nut finger tight with a little snug the wire to the horn button and then attached the wheel. The horn does not work now. Im sure there is something I am missing here but i dont know what it is . I tried looking for some instruction online but have yet to find any . Anyhelp would be appreciated.
