Not much of an update been welding in the floor plates for the cage and welding up the rear subframe mounts to make them solid mounted rather than rubber. I'll get some more pics up when I've got some paint on it My Spoon manifold is back from the electropolishers though, not quite the finish I wanted but it looks better than before.

Trial fitted the cage, modified the subframe so the Spoon manifold fits nicer than before.

Random question but what sort of angle do the engines sit at in the engine bay? From pictures it looks like they sit tilted forward slightly but hard to tell?

Engine trial fitted properly, mounts welded just need to add some reinforcement. There isn't room for a front mount as such as I'm using a cable to hydro adaptor for the clutch using the original metro clutch cable so I cut up an the innovative mount and made it fit the rear instead. Few hours tidying up and then I'll get it powder coated

Had some solid stainless steel front mounts made up and an exhaust mount/arb bracket. Subframe is at the powder coaters so going to start prepping the interior for paint. Trying to decide whether to bite the bullet and fit some tuner 2 cams also...

Few more stainless bits, arb brackets front and rear, steering rack from an MGF (straight swap and less turns lock to lock). Threw some zinc primer on the bare metal, is getting painted in 2 weeks

Not many updates as I sent the head off for skimming/cleaning, it's back now so I've fitted Skunk2 Tuner 2 cams, titanium top caps, Alpha springs and pro cam gears

Engine painted today, got rid of the dizzy as running 36-1 trigger wheel so made a bracket for the sensor.
