**Rigid Collar kit** Spoon.

Looks like a grate idea. I have been monitoring the movement of mu subframe on my 92 EG6 for while and it does seem to move every few months and upset the front Geo.

Id say not a bad buy seing as no one else is making them.

it's another novel idea from Spoon but as previously stated I could machine all of those in an hour. maybe they are priced high knowing that they will be inevitably copied by those less imaginative.

Well if anyone wants to whip up a few on a lathe i will happily test them out free of charge ;)

These will be eaten up by the same people who buy their wrist-band reservoir socks for £20 a pop.

I was surprised to find the base for Spoon is in Taunton, didn't realise they had a store either otherwise I would have gone for a peek, just a pity most of it is so stupidly priced

I recon they have quite a good function to be honest. How else are you going to stop subframe movement over time and stress.

looks and sounds like a very worthwile mod! my subframe does seem to move every few months and upset the front Geo also! Might invest in a set! :)

Welding? I think one of the key points is that these reduce alot of the movement, oviously welding on the subframe has its implications, ie; cutting the welds, etc if need to remove the subframe for any reason, im going to buy some!

Also was just thinking, surely there would be some form of legal issue if you were copying a product that was patented?

I drive past there every time I go to croyde! will have to stop for a peek.

As said, Great product but very pricey even with the R&D taken into consideration, If anyone buys any soon PM me the measurements :p lol

Never heard of this before but like Dozzy said Tegiwa, get on it!

Well seeing as im running a 19year old EG6 and Im planning on restoring it to as fresh as i can at a spirited daily driver and keeping the car for a very good while. I dont mind spending that much for something i can cleary see the need for as my subframe is always moving.

Happily going to buy a set when i have the spare cash.

...the more you think about what this does and solves, its hard not to want it. lol

i second that.
none of the old 10% increase in breathing from an air filter , just plain old simple engineering that you can see and feel working.
