Rigid Collars

We just squirt a little WD on them..ensure they are true and tap them into place.

If it takes more effort than that, something is slightly out of line.

Any quoting as it requires log in. I will review them as soon as i install them in a couple of weeks

Well i ordered these this week and turned up friday. Just fitted them, and i could see straight away how much the bolts had moved over the last 3 years since i tightened them last. Collars fitted straight in, Put some thread lock on the bolts and back in. It took me 20 minutes to do, with the subframe still on, wheels, engine etc etc, literally just jacked up got under it.
i Was really surprised how easy it was.

I havnt driven the car for over a month and i won't be driving it for another 3 weeks. So i doubt i will notice the difference, but the subframe was pulled straight so i'll take it for alignment when it's back on the road.

So far i'd say they were definatly worth doing, and i will buy some for the ek9 in the near future.

Thanks again :)

same here, finally fitted mine and got the alignment done. can't say how much difference was made as the alignment was off after fitting new rta bushes.

RTA bushes have nothing to do with your front subframe or front wheel alignment mate...

subframes dont move if tightened to spec...if its moving tighten it up.

They do move, more so when using on the track, and various customers on here have even posted photos of the marks left behind from the subframe moving, even if you look at the design no matter how much you tighten it up, take a curb too hard at the track and it will move.... fact

Some people are getting away without re-alginment as they are undoing just one bolt at a time....but obviously, we recommend you get your alignment checked afterwards. Always when doing anything in the suspension and handling department ;-)

We have some nice feedback on Civic Life, but you'd have to be members to see it.
