Single valve Springs rob? Never heard of rocket until now lol
 
I've seen those but I've always used my old lever/clamp style ones.
Take it they work great?

It's brilliant, tbh I preferred it to the old spring compressor with the head off. Mainly because your not constantly worrying about damaging the face of the head.

Defo agree with the old style tool being abit clumsy.
Makes it hard work.

So you working in your lunch breaks or you using it to teach the kids?
 
No Kids this week mate so just using my breaks to get it all together. Hating waiting for parts but I'm not putting it together and then taking bits back off.
 
My piston rings took 3 weeks from the states through tegiwa.
Htune got the next set through just over a week.
 
Im really hoping that everything will be here by the middle of next week and it will be in and running that weekend. Gives me just under two weeks to run it in and get my mates cams fitted, he's getting mapped same day as me.

Should of taken a side by side pic with the old and new springs. Heres the new ones though...

 
Can already see they are thicker than a stock Spring.
What material they made from?
