Its bad that it came down to this, especially Stakis pretty much openly admitting he lied to PayPal claiming his account was hacked, its not really the way to sort things but they didn't really come to agreement, atleast Stakis could do is post the box back to Weasel. Definately a shame, I hope Weasel still is active on here and posts as is a good member to the forum.

so we've lost a good member and retain some dubious so and so giving us the finger literately (Look at his avatar!)

Wow interesting read after work.
This is why I never have or will send parts abroad. Tbh I don't like sending parts to Ireland let alone the rest of Europe.
If stakis gets his money back he should send the box back.

Also for vtec6000 (angus),I posted up about what I believed was a scam under advice from moderators. Unfortunately you deleted this so anything else that Stakis has scammed in the meantime you can take responsibility for.

Thats it, Over and out.

You posted a thread in the reputation section of forum, that wasn't the place to post it. For one the reputation thread is for members who have earned the right to sell items on the forum, which Stakis has not and two you don't start a reputation thread on behalf of another member. The discussion was already on going in this thread so this is where it should have stayed.

As for "anything else that Stakis has scammed in the meantime you can take responsibility for" should I take responsibility for this gearbox you have sold? As you did sell/organise the sale of a engine to a member on here some time ago which turned out to have problems and not be as described and I was aware of this!

No worries.

I will send it back when:
A. Weasel stops lying
B. Weasel withdraws his threats of violence, scam, etc.
C. Weasel will stop deforming my reputation and character.
D. Weasel will cover my expenses (80eur to gearbox specialist (maybe he will accept 40 if he will not have to assemble it back) + 90eur postage).
E. The bells are saying: ding ding.

For all the haters: I never lied, neither to you, neither to Paypal. I explained the situation.

Since Weasel have not done any of these things, I am not going to contact him again.

This is my last message.

If other forum members have questions or want to discuss with me, you can contact me anytime by PM.

Good luck!

you did lie to paypal, you are a liar. Just do the right thing and send the gearbox back......

I have spoken to Stakis via pm amd tbh i would have done the same, now the boot is on the other foot the seller doesnt like it. If i was stakis i would keep the box play him at his own game. Now the boots on the other foot its a different story. If he wasn't willing to send him syncros ect why should he send the box back. No the seller is out of pocket he doesnt like it, but to be fair thats what you get for trying to rip off other members.

Ive said this prior, the seller had a big issue going on with his transmission when he was tracking the car.
http://www.ek9.org/forum/racing/45328-weasels-race-diary-2012-a.html

"Things started going pretty well, the engine seemed strong the new diff was pulling hard through the corners and cornering setup was working really well.
After 4 laps of tipping around and getting everything up to optimum values, i decided to open up the taps a little and go that little bit quicker. No sooner had i went through 3 turns when the differential in the gearbox seemed to seize and i had no other option but to beech it in the graveltrap.

We got pulled back out and i drove the car back in but it seemed a bit sluggish. I put this down to a pebbel or something getting stuck in the brakes or something.
Once i had the front end cleaned up again, out we went for more laps. This time the car felt really sluggish and lacking in power so I came back in after 2 laps. We jacked the car up and guess-diagnosed the problem to be a differential seizure possibly due to being shimmed to tight.
So that was our day over in a nutshell.

^^I really think this is a case where both sides are at fault.
Its very sad that a positive outcome could not be achieved.
