Sebastian Vettel the 2012 Formula 1 World Champion


The last race couldn't have been any better!
unfortunately i havnt really had time to watch the rest but did see the odd race. seemed a pretty good season!

Totally agree, I watched every race this season and the last race was so exciting, on the edge of my seat the whole time! Amazing how Vettel came back from 22nd, he is just the best.
 
In start did not brake the car, ham and hulk out, 2 fail pit...

Ps. This ferrari is sh*t.
 
Vettel got lucky with the crash on the first corner, that could have easily put him out of the race, but also unlucky with no radio contact to his crew. Very talented driver
 
Great race, and Alonso lost he championship by 4 points!

I'm not a ferrari fan and a redbull fan either; but I wish Alonso had won the championship, since he did the unexpected with a piece of **** car.

Next year !! its Mercedes year!! :D

I know what you mean, I was rooting for Alonso throughout the whole season, fantastic driver! But you can't deny Vettel's the best, Red Bull have a great car and the best driver. I think he might get it next year too :))

Ferrari were unstoppable when they had the money, back in the Schumacher days! But now Red Bull have got the money and with a new bread of cars coming next year I think they'll destroy it!
 
Now ferrari have much money, but NOW they have domenicali!!! (Doh!)
 
Brilliant season and topped off with a brilliant final race.

In my opinion Seb deserves it; the Redbulls didn't REALLY have that much pace this year over the other car's, also all that nonsense about F1 drivers saying they racing the car and not the driver is just pathetic, Abu Dhabi was a prime example of racing excellence from Seb, but of course he was just lucky according to Ferrari fans. ;)

Alonso without a doubt is an amazing driver, the Ferrari was never really at peak performance compared to the Redbulls and especially the McLarens, but I think personally Ferrari will be on a downwards slope from here on in, it seem's the other teams are developing at a much faster pace than them.

I think Mercedes are one to watch. Especially when the new engine regulations come into effect in 2014. Let's hope Honda supply McLaren with there engines.

(I am clearly not a Redbull fan ;) :lol: )
 
definately a fine driver, what doesnt help is that webber isnt anything special, fair enough he is honest so maybe he will be a good commentator

you put lewis in that redbull and he would **** vettel, lewis is the fastest driver out there and has shown alot of control and maturity this year and he is gonna get better

fair enough vettel has won 3 championships but the jury is still out on him, even jackie stewart thinks he hasnt proven himself to be a all time great yet, and to be honest he needs to drive a non adrian newey car before he will only be remembered as winning the championships in the best car

this years championship should of been lewis's but he got screwed over by his own team, the difference between lewis and vettel is that lewis has won races when his car has been poor, even alonso has said this
 
I think Vettel has been the best driver this year, sure he's had some good luck compared to other drivers but you can't say he isn't the best, coming from dead last to 3rd in Abu Dhabi, I don't think any other driver could have done that, regardless of the car.

lol you a vettel fan? driver of the year is alonso in his piece of **** ferrari, regularly half a second or more slower per lap than the fastest cars yet he gets it on the podium

where vettel finished in abu dhabi was due to the pace car coming out twice and it was pure luck where he was where he ended up, the pundits have confirmed this and i would agree with them on that matter

as for the "i dont think any other driver could of done that" jenson button must be better than vettel then, remember a few years ago when jenson won in montreal after ending up last, a stop and go penalty and various other things and he still came back and won
