- 97"civic type r / cupra terramar
Hi everyone!
Im looking for some advice about selling my imported 1997 ek civic type r that ive had for about 4 years now. The reasons for selling, are that the car came into my possession at the wrong time in my life, plus i have to pay storage fees in winter as i dont have a garage. id hope to find a good owner (fingers crossed) I do love the car so much and it will so hard to let it go, but I also have a wedding to pay for at the end of the year which I also need to the extra cash for.
Anyways the advice im looking for, is just how much to put it up for?
The car is in excellent condition, and has about 107,000 on the clock, comes with an encyclopedia of history (including proof of when it was imported in 2008) the only things needing done are cosmetics and one interior damgage. A few chips of paint on the exterior of the bonnet need attending to (probs a full bonnet respray), small area of lacquer peel on the front bumper, the orginal wheels could do with a referb but its not that bad.
for the interior The drivers seat has one very small cigarette hole, but was like that when I got it.
it still possibly has what i researched to be the orginal gathers cassette stereo and six disc cd changer? I could be wrong though.
Over the whole car there has been very little modified parts, it has upgraded genuine spoon suspension, skunk 2 manifold and lowered control arms, M2 backbox and genuine mugen air intake. Everything else to my knowledge is still orginal.
My thoughts on pricing from looking at other ek9s on the market would be to start £19,995? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated and respected.
