covered 57 laps of the ring and 300 odd laps of knockhill, certainly got some proper use out of it :)

cheers though guys, plenty time for more lairy cars down the line, for now this is the best thing for me

good to hear so many of you enjoyed reading about the car as much as i enjoyed building and driving it
 
been here myself a year ago mate,, drive an Audi A4 1.8T 190 quattro now, and i love it, still manage the ring trips too, not as raw as the old EK9 but allot more usefull to me....

stevie9er only buys the best part, so an expensive swap will only get more expensive

what were you expecting 2 grand? once you sold all bseries componenets would be like 6k which IMO is good price, since as already stated 9er has purchased the best bolt ons and best OEM combination gearbox.

Was hardly going to be 2k was it,an engine and box would be greater than that.

The best parts will always sell for very near to the RRP

Was after more of a price for what the conversion cost HIM,how many times have we seen conversion threads started? Threads like this help when people use the search button.

A price of Stevens 2nd hand parts could then be used as reference. As some companies are charging £7,000 plus
 
7 k is a bargain for this, having done a k20 conversion ina dc2 years ago i know how much these things cost,,
 
yup!

all the hard work has been done, simply bolt on a few parts and you are good to go

well that's a deposit taken on the rolling shell minus LOADS of bits, basically just the important running gear included as it's going to be used as a k-swap doner car for an already immense EK9 off the site :)
