oh would love to see these fitted!!! been after one of these for years

Will this work aerodynamically? Or is it more of a show piece

Cool, do you have a rough price of a carbon one?

Would love to order one but await somebody else to do it first incase of fitting issues

More of a show piece. Diffusers need fed with air from a flat floor etc.

Murray

Not necessarily, its helps to have a flat underside.
Having just the rear diffuser and no flat underside, the diffuser still helps over not having one.
Especially on the EK9 rear bumper; its more of a parachute/air brake if you ask me.

I know this, was planning to mess about with flat floors and splitters. But I don't think I've got the skills to make a diffuser that works.
Will be doing a build thread about it once I've done it.

It will help a little, not worth it IMO
The air will still get above the diffuser and cause drag in the rear bumper like you say. You might aswell just drill holes in the rear bumper.
Not saying the product isnt nice, but for looks then hell yeah bolt it on. Performance enchancing, you will need the front splitter, flat floor etc for it to be really effective. All IMO of course.:)

Do the fins come prefitted? Or with guide holes to position?

Once you get these in, and get one fitted on a EK.

You will hem all instantly guranteed haha. look forward to seeing them :)

P, replied.

The fin dose not come prefitted, you have to fit them yourself as you can change the position of the fin base on your exhaust shape/size. No guide holes as well.

The reason behind this is that every car has different size or shape of exhaust, and the hole have to be cut accordingly hence it will affect the position of the fin. The guide holes may not be used in this case hence will leave some unwanted holes which will affect the overall appearance and aerodynamic.
We use a brand new one that bought from sergeant directly to make the mould. And even they don't come with prefitted fins, guide hole and exhaust hole.

Once you get these in, and get one fitted on a EK.

We are going to put everything on our demo car next week, picture should be available around end of next week.

Regards
Dave
