Shuthans B18C-R CGP EJ9. (Fresh update P.9)

Very nice civic. Have seen the car in Venlo, looks live even better than on pictures. ;-)

one of the nicest eks on the site an i hate facelift so dono how i like it haha think its cos its soo clean an good mods done to it

Great condition car this mate, really is in great nick!

And the seats are mega to, dread to think what they cost! Lol good work sir!

Tom- Thanks mate, They did cost ALOT but its worth it, they are literally the best seats I have sat in soo far, comfort, looks, holding, lightness etc

Fahad- I am keeping this cluster till I find a Spoon one, I don't feel the need to change it to something else to just put in for the time being.

Epic car mate!!! ;) wld look ace with a nice new dash! :)

Thanks mate :)

So got updates now, after waiting soo long and with a list of things to do piling up, I managed to book it in at Hond-R to get the jobs done, as always Hond-R didn't disappoint and I am soo happy with the outcome, I will let the pics do the talking...

Defi gauges went in, I love these:

In action:

Thanks to ramboteamjon, I got a EK9 non airbag dash finally, been waiting for soo long and it went in, and whilst I was at it, changed the interior to black instead of the EJ9 grey,

Dash:

With coin pocket ;)

Black carpet to replace the grey:

EK4 facelift door cards, best ones IMO:

Rear quarter plastics, cut out to fit the strut brace nicely rather than the huge holes I had before to accomodate an X brace I once had, got it cut out a little on the sides to access any damping adjustment I may need to do:

EK9 handbrake surround, best one to have in any EK:

As the coin pocket was there, the rear fog light couldn't be there now, so thanks to Maz (Hond-R), he got a EK sunroof switch and modified it to work as a rear fog, props to him as its brilliant, and fills in the missing blank in too:

EK9 wind deflectors:

Also, got the car fully undersealed, underneath and inner arches too, I was told only slight surface rust so was treated and sealed, for a 13year old car with 168K on it, chassis hasn't done too badly :)

I had an annoying bootleak that couldn't put my finger on, so basically Hond-R stripped the rear inc the bootlid and found the source of it, so hopefully its sorted now, will need to wait for a day it rains I guess.

Got the car polybushed too, along with the roofliners and pillars replaced with facelift EK4 ones as it suited the interior more now with the black interior.

all very nice details again, to put your car on an even higher level :win:

how is te visibility of the gauges, they seem very small and out of sight where they are placed now.

Thanks mate :)

Nope, they are perfect, I sit quite back anyway so they are clear to me, even if you sit a bit forward, its clearly readable plus the gauges are pointed towards you

I noticed recently my radiator was a bit leaky, It was fairly old so I did think to replace it with another OEM but made more sense to replace it with an ally one, Spoon sports europe contacted me saying, they had one Spoon rad avaliable to ship and did me an AMAZING deal, I would have been stupid to turn it down, I got it the next day, and I am soo happy with it, barely weighs anything and its sooo much thicker than OEM, 25mm compared to 10mm, looking to fit it tonight, here are pics:

Great choice of parts once again.
And stop making me jealous with them pics of your Spoon seats :p
