My wife has been hounding me for a new car so to make way for her new Qashqai I need to part with my civic. Imported in 2010 with 122,000km it's now on 153,000km. The speedo and odometer still run in k's so it's all genuine milage. Import certificate has imported milage & backed by previous MOT's. MOT till end of March this year. Advisory for rear tyres and another but I can't remember what.
I put a years tax on in August last year as I never planned to sell up.
Could do with finding this a new home so I put a reasonable price of £4800
Car is Just outside Blackpool. Come for a weekend partying and get yourself a decent car!!!
Near standard apart from a Teg air box & a mad titanium back box that sound epic!
Body wise is nice. It cleans up really well with a good clay bar, polish & wax. Underneath it's all sealed and very clean. The sills are good there is some very very minor signs of rust on the arch lips. Seriously, it's very slight i've tried to get pics of this the wheel arches are all sealed up too. Front bumper has some stone chipping as expected. Drivers door is a little grey but there's not sings of accident damage. I've had the interior stripped fully out and everything is nice and straight. New genuine 'H' badges front & rear. CarCraftBoon stickers for mega JDM points. Overall it still very nice.
The interior is all near standard. The seats are spot on, there's no bolster sag on either, rips, tears or fag burns. The drivers seat always has a cover on. Back seats are clean no tears etc & are still pretty dark thanks to the window tints. It has a touch screen kenwood stereo (off the top if my head) AUX, iPod/Phone input etc, rear subs with amp in the boot. Is loud but when it's The Who playing it's all good. I bought a parcel shelf, it's most likely a generic EK one. Carpet is good and has all the floor mats. Drivers one has some wear and tear. Still had the air con that blows baltic cold.
The engine is sweet as can be. I serviced it as soon as I picked it up & again in September. I have a service pack with new plugs, OEM oil filter & MTF for the next service. I burns virtually no oil, I've never had to top it up. It doesn't smoke in or out of Vtec. The gearbox is nice and smooth.

I think the price is more than reasonable for her. I advertised it on FB and turned down loads of offers way below what I think it's worth. Unless you have a 16v CRX in reasonable condition that you will part ex for £1000 i'm sticking with the asking price.

Bad(ish) stuff
- I replaced the rear left caliper not long ago as is was stuck, with this the hand brake light comes on when the car is cold but goes away after a little drive. Brakes could do with being bled out again s the pedal is pretty mushy.
- Rear bumper bolts were corroded so I used some proper JDM tie wrapping to hold it on.
- Bit's of paint chipping and the mis matched drivers door let it down.
- Windscreen washers are Kack! Most likely they are blocked up as water does still come out but they will need to be sorted for an MOT.
