So it's been awhile since I've posted on here, but I've been around lurking and watching lol. I have recently acquired a DB7 so it's game on again until I get my hands on a EJ7 :D

So for now just to get my feet wet I'm looking to do a LSV.
Specs of what I'm looking at:
- B16A PR3 Head
- B18B1 P75 Block
- 82mm P73-A0 Pistons
- IL4 82mm x .030" HG
- Edelbrock Performer X Intake Manifold
- IL4 68mm TB
- Logic Tri-Y or RMF Rep
- Full 2.5" Exhaust
- IL4 Valve Train
- Skunk2 tuner Stage 3 Cams
- ARP Hardware (Bolts, Studs, etc.)

I know right off the bat most of you will be concerned about the 82mm Pistons on Stock Sleeves. I know this is the absolute Max of the Stock Sleeves but I've seen it done many a times and last for quite some time. Alot of the nay say towards the 82mm on Stock Sleeves is either in regards to Boost or Very High Comp i.e. 12.8+. I think I'm decently in the safe zone here. If they crack they crack, nothing we can do but get another P75 Block and go 81.75mm next time around? lol

I chose doing a 82mm to maximize the $/power ratio. If I'm gonna spend the money on new pistons and boring/honing sleeves I might as well go for the max and end up with the same price instead of going with say a 81.25mm and having minimal differences as far as performance goes. The 82mm pistons are completely coated on the side skirts so that should help with the side loading and what not.

I did some calculation with the ZealAutoWerks Comp Calc and I came out with 12.04:1 C/R using the following specs:
- PR3 Head
- P75 Block
- 82mm P73 Pistons
- Total Mill/Shaved off Block & Head @ .008"

I've done as much research on the Skunk2 Tuner 3's as my Search Engines will let me. The main conclusion I've come up with is the cams like at minimum a 1.8l which I got covered with 1.9l (1880cc) and Compression of atleast 12.0:1 which I also got covered @ 12.04:1.

Now I made it a point to use the minimum Compression for the simple fact I only have 92 Oct here. So to keep things on the safer side I decided to stay with the minimum.

I've came up with a few other combinations but this is the one I wanted to try out. LMK what you guys think, insight, personal exp, etc. Also I didn't want a Pro Series cam because it will still be daily driven so the Small Pri/Sec are nice to have around town.

:blinx::nerv::thanks:
