Cleaning a manifold :angry: This has to be the worse part of cleaning a car.
I only did the part that will show in the engine bay as Im all about the bling yo :blabla:

So please dont do this unless like me your a cleaning HO :win:

I know were your coming from!

Only the last time i did one i did it to a 98spec OEM manifold to a mirror finish, only took me about 3 night shifts at work!:lol:
 
Yep i done it but it is pointless. 1000k miles later its back to normal again :-(

Heat wrap for me again....
 
sounds just as dull and infuriating as wrapping the mani aswell

i've had heat wrap sitting there in the box for like 2 weeks, the thought of getting round to doing it is killing me lol :p
 
its fooking pants job gav and wear long sleaved top and gloves also use jubliee clips aswel
 
I heat wrapped my manifold in the kitchen, mum gave me a sore head after that :eek:

Can appreciate the effort, but heatwrapping is the way forward!!!
 
Yeah the fibers get everywhere! :mad:

If you wet the wrap 1st it makes the job a bit easier and you can get it on a bit tighter for a neater job :)) but overall a bit more messy!

Does take an age to dry tho, so will be a bit steamy for a few miles! :lol:
