Sorting out slam panel

Hi guys,
I've moved back to Glasgow after a year away and that means I can work on the car again, yay! I've removed the old smokey engine to make space for a (hopefully) healthier one, and since I'm there I've decided to sort out all the rust problems as well. Now I know how to deal with most of it but I don't know what to do about the slam panel. It's structurally solid, but the problem is that because of it's shape I will never be able to get away all the rust, and I don't want to spend all this time fixing it just for the rust to appear again in a year. I don't need it to look perfect, it's a track car but I want it to last. Any suggestions as to how to get the rust from the hard-to -reach areas, or should I just replace the slam panel and be done with it?

Pop some pictures up of the problem areas if you can

Pretty much the whole slam panel lol, it's not rotten through like, but mainly the bottom of the top (if that makes sense) there are bits that will be impossible to reach. I've just found a whole new slam panel for less than £50 so I think I'll do that. It will also allow me to clean up the rest of the chassis legs properly.

For that price I would deffo go for the new one, just allow your self plenty of time to align it assuming its a pattern part panel, they can often require a trial fit and a few tweeks
