Spoon ECU


How do you reset it? Just by plugging out the ecu or disconnecting the battery for a few mins???
 
fuese in the fuse box at the passenger side of the engine bay.

i think it says EM (10A) and back up (7.5A)

webartie has a point with deciding between your local tuners and what kind of parts.
 
Im still uncertain weather to go for the spoon ecu or the apexi power fc

If money is not a problem for you mate, then thinking in this case is useless. There is no comparison between those two ECUs. Go for the Power FC :nice:
 
why if minor mods is power fc better??? please list reasons, i have seen many tuners mess up just as easy as increse power with fc. spoon is not just peak power the power band is genious... has anyone actually seen results for one???

agreed power fc is more tunable but lets take more than just peak power for a sec. spoon sports is a track company and god does it work there.

WHEN TUNNING its not just peak its how everything works together, i think thats why people ditch spoon as there not about peak power, i have seen there parts in action and i honestly would pick even over the likes of skunk 2 which make very aggresseve parts.... everyone has diff tastes but after seeing alot of different variations of tunning parts i genuinly believe that spoon offer the most for me.

First you should specify your current setup AND what you need before asking for suggestions! :D
Second, since you believe that spoon offers the most for you I say you know better than us so go for it :nice:
Power FC works fine with minor mods even though the gains would be minimal. The problem starts when you want to go for major mods in the future (usually what happens once you get addicted) and Spoon would start to become restrictive......

like thats where im at...ive upgraded to power fc because the spoon pre tune cant take me where i want to go....either way standalone is ALWAYS gonna be better than pre set ecu...theres so much more features:nice:

ive the experience of both....
