Stroking the B16b

with a slight overbore of the cylinders, maybe 0.5mm, with a 84.5mm stroke would give you close to 1.8L

thx...so 84.5mm stroke is possible on B16A ? pistons are probably lower than standard....

Sin, I believe you can achieve a 84.5mm stroke using a B18C crank on a B16A, The pistons in the stroker set will be to spec

Not sure if i've missed aomething here, but a B18 crank is 87.2mm, and will always be 87.2mm regardless of what block you put it in.

I stroked up my B16b with an ITR stroker (conrods & crankshaft) but im still using ny B16b piston for higher compression. I used the ITR kit coz its more lighter than the GSR.

basic parts are itr crank and rods to stroke the b16b?

Stroking my B16B is my next goal. I'm rally leaning toward the Spoon Stroker Kit. Since I live on the States I should be able to get it from inline4.

^^ i was under the impression that the spoon kit was just balanced OEM parts?

and yes, its been discontinued for a long long time, i doubt inline4 have any, they just dont update their site

ive read up bout people stroking their b16b to 1800cc mostly with spoon stroker kit but ive read and heard your able to do it with either ls/gsr/itr crank and rods im wondering if anyone has done this because i got a couple ques such as

1)could i remain with the b16b piston while still remaining reliable?
2)is there anything else (any usual obstacle) that i would have to do to get the any crank in there if so what?
3)is there like a best combo from the three? or are the all the same?
4)what would be the c/r if i do go with this plan?

i do got more but dont just want to make a long boring list, this process intrigues me and i would like to know more about.....also what i mean by reliable is that i use my car as a daily to get me from school and work everyday
some one tell me about brushes used in electric cars!!!

Have had a good read through this forum but can't seem to find the answer I'm after. I have a b16b lying about and looking to build a stroked b16b. I have been offered a b18c4 bottom end and wondered if this is any use?

Ok so if I have B18C4 crank and rods fitted to P73-00 pistons in a B16B block. Would this be an OK set up. I have a B16A2 head lying about that I could use or what head would be best for this set up?

P73 the b16b piston?
You'd have a high comp ratio of like 12.5-1 but you'll be restricted to what kind of cams you stick in it for clearance reasons on the piston.
If your looking to put a stock head on then it's going to be b18c or b16b head.

Yes I have a b16b block and p72-00 lying about so was gonna build up a stroked bottom end.

I thought the b18c4 crank and rods with p73-00 pistons would give me around 11.5 compression. But having checked the compression calculator it's saying 10.4.
